Consignment Guidelines

Consignment is a mutually beneficial arrangement that requires collaboration between consignors and the consignment boutique. Our consignment hours are set for Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 5 PM. During these hours, consignors can bring their items for consideration.

As a consignment partner, our role is too curate and manage the items that we believe have the highest potential for sale. This includes maintaining the items in excellent condition, marketing them effectively, and facilitating their sale while they are under our care. We are committed to providing a professional environment that supports the success of our consignors.

To ensure a smooth consignment process, it is essential that consignors adhere to specific guidelines when bringing items for sale. The quality and condition of the items are paramount. Consignors should ensure that all items are in great condition and meet our established standards. This includes bringing items in a bin, tote, or laundry basket folded for ease of handling.

For clothing items, specific presentation standards must be followed. Each piece should be laid flat and folded once, with the tag facing upwards. Additionally, all buttons must be fastened to maintain the integrity of the garments. It is crucial that all clothing items are free from stains, smoke odors, pilling, and pet hair. These factors significantly influence the likelihood of sale and customer satisfaction.

For home décor items, it is important that they are wiped clean and presented in a manner that reflects their quality. Items that are visually appealing and well-maintained are more likely to attract buyers and achieve successful sales. Consignors are encouraged to take the time to prepare their items adequately before bringing them in for consignment.

By following these guidelines, consignors can contribute to a successful partnership that benefits both parties. The consignment process is designed to be straightforward and efficient, allowing for a seamless experience in selling quality items. Together, we can create an environment that promotes the sale of distinctive home décor and stylish jewelry, ensuring that each item finds its rightful owner.

Consignment Schedule:

Spring & Summer- Jan 1st- June 15th

Fall & Winter- July1st- December 15th

 

Soul Unique Consignment Boutique reserves the right at any time to cancel a consignor’s contract if we should feel that consignor has knowingly provided us with, for example, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, etc.  We reserve the right to change the payment terms at any time.  These changes will be clearly communicated via email and/or social media.
